I honestly find it hard to rate this very highly. It is fairly entertaining, but I found the controls a bit too loose and chaotic. Then again, I guess that's the real challenge and why it's entertaining.

While I rated your advent calendar a two, I am willing to rate this much higher. It's still exceptionally bizarre, but it thinks and says mildly humorous things in very dry ways, much akin to Hunter S. Thompson's writing style.

Not only was this a fairly clever animation, the joke was original and the Bitey portion was pretty well animated. You got the yellow gasbag perfect!

This is not artistic. This is not funny. This is not well-made. This is only slightly clever, because I haven't seen someone attempt a flash-animated advent calendar. After glancing at some of your previous works, I was feeling hopeful that something interesting would come along. And there were a couple decent animations that looked hand-drawn. The rest didn't even TRY. It's like you realized halfway through what it was you were doing and simply gave up entirely.

I've been patient, popping in give or take every other day, voting specifically on each new animation. Some of it was okay, but not enough. I expected better of you. This was stupid. Truly.

I may pop on one last time to see the final update. If it's decent, I might give something more than a 1. If it is another sub-par piece, I will give a 0 and be done with this. As it stands right now, at 1:33 am on December 24th, 2009, I rate this at a 2 out of 10, one star for the hand-drawn pieces and the other for attempting such an ambitious idea- even if you utterly failed to redeem it.

It's fairly short, very well done, clever, funny, and the humor is pretty dry. All in all this is one of the better vids I've seen this December.

I'm honestly not sure how to feel about this chaotic mess. Part of me wants to punch my eyes in. Part of me wants to grin and go make popcorn. Yet I sit here now, with this mildly tired look on my face, unable to do little more than consider how I feel about that. It's just not right. I don't mean the video. Still debating that. But the fact I don't know what to say or feel in response. You've fully disturbed me in a way most entertaining. Yet I don't know if that's good.

You had me at Blockhead. Then I saw Bitey. And a dying turtle. And that was when I knew I'd have to vote 5/5 and 10/10. It's short, sure, but funny as hell and kind of touching in a nostalgic way. Especially when you got Jerry and Salad Fingers and the tank men tucked in.

I didn't like it, personally, but it was still a clever alteration, and I won't take that away. The rewritten lyrics are fairly humorous at times, and the Law & Order reference was pretty cool.

The original score was going to be a 6. Again, wasn't my thing. I smiled, but that was at the witty Law & Order gag, which was smoothly woven into the funny lyrics. Add a star for lyrics and a star for the L/O, and we arrive at a final 8.
