Exceptionally simple, similarly fun

I can now tap into my inner graboid and pretend I'm watching a new Tremors movie.

Getting to the point, this is a very fun and fairly simple game. Its simplicity is the key, as something too complex would render me and my laptop unable to play. As it is, this is a refreshingly clever game to kill some time on. 9/10, 5/5.

A few flaws

As mentioned by a few people below, this has a great premise. I'll also add that I took literally no issue with the controls and loved that I could hide and evade them as opposed to be forced to fight all the time. But the glaring hole in this is the combat. The pistol was prone to misfires and the melee weapons were virtually useless, merely putting off the inevitable. The shotgun was the only helpful weapon I came across- that and a lunatic I found with a shotgun called Taylor. Then I ran out of shotgun munitions, grabbed a vase, and died. Taylor disappeared and I was left twiddling my thumbs like a dick.

The game would get an easy 10/10 if it weren't for the trivial combat system and the fact I lose everything when I die because of the trivial combat system. The "losing items" bit wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the combat system's issues.

Thus, I must give you an 8/10 and a 4/5. As I said before, it's otherwise not a bad game at all.

Just to spite Urpie

I was going to give this a 4, but I'll award you a star just because Urpie had to say something stupid.

This game is a nice idea (especially in the detail of the idea), but it fell flat on its non-earthling face.

Nope

It was a nice concept, but it fell through. I'm sorry. 4/10, 1/5.

Exceptionally frustrating

This game does not play nicely with laptops. Visually it works fine. The audio is fine. What makes my skin crawl is that I'm utterly stuck on level 8. I know exactly what I need to do, but the laser doesn't give me a moment that I need to do my task on my laptop. The game is nice and entertaining, but regardless still frustrating to me. I can't continue the game. I still enjoy it, and the rating reflects that, but I cannot give a 9 or a 10 given the fact I cannot do anything to continue.

It is aggravating indeed...

Wanted to review this early so as to not be pissed when I do so. It's pleasantly cruel, much in the same way as I Wanna Be The Guy. I can appreciate this humor.
The graphics aren't GREAT, but they don't need to be. It's fun regardless. Irritating as shit, but fun regardless.

Exceptionally fun.

It's very challenging, very tense, and very fun, even on easy and slow. I genuinely enjoyed it- particularly the music which is very effective. Good job. The fact this was done with such simple graphics is also a nice aspect- it doesn't need to be ultra detailed to be a great game.

I'm sorry

I really wanted to like this game, but I really couldn't. It's sounds fine, isn't ugly or unattractive- just very frustrating. The gravity renders it nearly unplayable. You're right in that it's unique. But that "unique" aspect is... unpleasant.

Very good game

Tricky and fun. Honestly, I don't feel terribly compelled to finish it, but it still seems pretty damn good regardless. I keep finding myself stuck and only hitting certain dots by accident. This accidental victory doesn't feel too fulfilling, which is often the point to a game- give a false sense of fulfillment. Because I feel no such fulfillment here, I find myself uninterested in finishing.

The fact I played as long as I did though (45 minutes fumbling about) is a testament that this game has a nice idea behind it that definitely draws people in. Thus, I won't rate this lower than 9/10 and a 5/5. It held my attention for a while, and really, what else is the point of any game?

Decent

Is it great? No. It's merely okay. It's aging, so the graphics are weak comparatively. I won't hold that against the game. What I will hold against, though, is how slow the character is at first, then he becomes Speed Racer (in acceleration and color) just by hitting space. This game is... tweaked. Needs some work.

I actually do hope you make a Blobs 2 so that you can improve upon the premise.

Writing is my life- poetry, novels... I like blurring genres, bringing together action, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, and even romance. Don't like it? Hmm...... Pity.
