A few flaws
As mentioned by a few people below, this has a great premise. I'll also add that I took literally no issue with the controls and loved that I could hide and evade them as opposed to be forced to fight all the time. But the glaring hole in this is the combat. The pistol was prone to misfires and the melee weapons were virtually useless, merely putting off the inevitable. The shotgun was the only helpful weapon I came across- that and a lunatic I found with a shotgun called Taylor. Then I ran out of shotgun munitions, grabbed a vase, and died. Taylor disappeared and I was left twiddling my thumbs like a dick.
The game would get an easy 10/10 if it weren't for the trivial combat system and the fact I lose everything when I die because of the trivial combat system. The "losing items" bit wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the combat system's issues.
Thus, I must give you an 8/10 and a 4/5. As I said before, it's otherwise not a bad game at all.
